12. The Lincoln's had many animals during their time in the White House. He had horses, one of which was named "Old Abe", dogs, cats, and a turkey named Jake.

The fact about Lincoln having a dream about being dead is weird! I guess he was worried about something like that happening. What a awful thing that it did happen. I can't imagine how terrible the people living at that time felt. Thank you for posting these interesting facts.

Robert Lincoln did have children.
ReplyDeleteRobert Lincoln had three children, one of whom, Abraham the second died at the age of 17 years. His last direct decendant died approx. 1982.
